CDWORKS / ASSEMBLY MOTION
Motion Lab Beta
v0.4.1 · Development preview
Group components, add timed translations and rotations around world pivots, then preview and save your sequence. This is illustrative choreography, not a validated machine simulation.
- Start with Load generic example below, or open your own converted
cdworks.scene.v0.1JSON / savedcdworks.project.v0.2JSON. The browser does not open native SolidWorks or STEP files. Scene conversion is a separate developer workflow. - Select components with the checkboxes, create a rigid group, then add or update timed steps. Linear travel and world pivots use mm; rotations use degrees; time uses seconds. Unapplied editor changes are not saved.
- Play or scrub to inspect poses. Save project downloads geometry, groups and steps as JSON; Export PNG captures the current view. Keep the downloaded JSON for future work. No automatic save.
Your opened files and edits stay in this browser memory and are not uploaded by the tool. Downloads remain on your device unless you share them. Loading the public example requests only its generic geometry from this website.
Limits: WebGL is required. Maximum 40 MB input, 500,000 triangles, 200 steps, 500 groups and 3,600 seconds. No native mate solving, collision validation or physics. Fixed-duration moves use constant speed; speed mode uses ideal acceleration ramps. Browser MP4/GLB export is unavailable. No actuator sizing or machine-safety validation.
